mPage - Moodle's iPhone Application
I use mPage, Moodle's iPhone application on my phone when I am without a computer and need to look up something for a class. mPage has many features such as a calender with all course information listed and sections for each subject material. The only thing that I dislike about mPage is that you cannot open up a powerpoint while using it. I think that the application does not support the use of powerpoint, but I would like to be able to view powerpoints on my phone if I need to look up information within the slideshow. I think that mPage is a great idea but needs a little more changes.
Google Sketch Up
I liked Google Sketch Up for making floor plans, but not for making a 3D model of a building. I had trouble learning the techniques and tools to manipulate the walls and lines. I found that there were many steps in making a 3D model in Sketch Up. In my opinion, I think that Sketch Up would be a great program to make floor plans. However, I do think that it is a very unique program but requires a large amount of time.

Search Engines
My favorite search engine is Google. I like the new feature where it predicts you text when you start typing. I also like how Google has a new logo for a major event that happened in history for the date. The only thing that I do not like about Google is that there are hundreds of thousands of links matching your search, however it takes such a long time to properly attain the information you are searching.
Making Category 5 Cables
Recently in computer architecture, we learned how to make catagory 5 cables. There are two types of cat 5 cat cables, a to b wiring and b to b wiring. Cat 5 cables are also known as patch cables. Each type of cable has a special order in which the wires have to be in. Once the wires are in order, a port is needed and then crimped to the wire.
